Artist relations is located in the custom shop but the Custom shop has
“price list ” product that is regularly shipped to stores as well as
“Custom order” one off guitars built by Master Builders in the Custom
Shop. When it comes to Master Built guitars there is a long wait but
pretty much anything you want goes, provided it still resembles a Fender.
You get pricing and place orders through your Fender dealer. Yes you will
wait but it is worth it. Price list guitars are usually availible all the
time at your local Fender dealer. Some signature product is Custom Shop
product but not all of it, most of the small run signature stuff like the
Gatton tele signature model are made at the Custom Shop and are listed as
Price list product.

They do custom insturments for anyone with the $$$ and patience to
wait for them. I believe they also produce limited edition models
and some of the signature models.

Maybe they produce all of the signature models. I don’t know for
sure, but all of the sig. models I know of were in my Custom Shop
Catalog. Would someone comfirm this?

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.
