Hello all…..

Yesterday I was working at one of the local FM
stations transmitter sites. They employ 2 30k Watt
transmitters. Keep in mind that these transmitters are
*tube* powered devices. On each of the transmitters
is a meter for plate voltage and plate current. The
readings pretty much humble any guitar amp:

Plate Voltage: 12,000 Volts
Plate Current: 2.7 Amps

I was impressed.

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.
