Pics of Kim Wilson August 24, 2003 at The Hungry Tiger

I drove up to see Kim Wilson at "The Hungry Tiger" up in Connecticut. The last time (see pics) it took three hours, through a blizzard, to get there. This time it only took 2 hours and 40 minutes. I would only do this to see Kim! (Hey Rod Piazza will be there soon!)

First, I have a picture of Kim's 59 Bassman knob settings.

Normal=3, Bright=1, Treble=2, Bass=8, Middle=2, Presence=11

It's hard to read. Here's another picture showing Kim's unmodified JT-30 without a Volume Control. (and Kim's hand.)

The hungry Tiger is a nice bar with good food. You have to get there early if you want to sit at a table or the bar, otherwise there are few places to sit. I stood the whole night. (And was bumped by dancing ladies - quite a nice experience).

Kim had this killer guitar player. He did blues, jazz, swing, jump - you name it!

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.
