Subject: Help out a beginner!

I am beginning harp player and would like some information on the following:
1. On the little "instructions" that came with my a harp, it says to holes
1,2, & 3 and then hole 4 will sound. Is this the typical way to play one
note? Naturally, I sorta cusp my tounge around the one hole I wish to play.
For example, if I want to play hole 4, I would put my tounge around it like
In this example, my tounge is U. I guess what I am asking is, have I already
developed a really bad habit? Do people always cover the holes 3 to the left
of the one they wish to play?

2. I also have some questions about bending. What is the general
tounge/airway position/movement that needs to be involved to get a bend for
a draw and blow note? Is there a general difference in the technique for
blow and draw?

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.

I began collecting data about the microphones used by blue harp players before there was an internet. I began organizing it into in the late 1990s. I accumulated more stuff than I remember. This is some of it.
