Subject: Re: Honner Blues Blaster durabil

Hi Gary and Mike,
I guess I stand corrected... It sure looked like a plain Blues Blaster
but I didn't check the internals.
Picking up on another thread.. Sugar sounded best through the stage mic when
he played a few acoustic numbers. We could actually hear his great control
of the harp's tone. He could get deep trombone sounds, trumpet sounds, I was
quite impressed. Unfortunately 90% of his playing was high speed runs back
and forth in the upper register and after 45 minutes I felt like I had heard 3
sets worth so I went home. The crowd was also surprised by his ability to
converse rather fluently in French. Sounded a lot like Parisian french.

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I began collecting data about the microphones used by blue harp players before there was an internet. I began organizing it into in the late 1990s. I accumulated more stuff than I remember. This is some of it.
