On 11/22 there is also a Little Walter Tribute in Amsterdam (Paradiso),
with Guy Forsyth, Lester Butler & the Radio Kings and some additional
Dutch/Belgian
harpers (Kim Snelten, Paul Vilvoye and Werner Blaas).

I saw Lester Butler about a year ago (with an emergency line-up of the red
devils, incl.
Kid Ramos, but with a disappointing rhythm section), although he looked very
drunk/stoned
(with a strong resemblance to Charles Manson) his harp playing was a
pleasant surprise.

Werner Blaas is a good player, I saw him at a harmonica battle and there was
little doubt
that he was the winner. I've never heard Kim Snelten play (that is -BLUES-),
I heard him
with his pop-band, not really impressive. He also did an interview with
Charlie Musselwhite
and Magic Dick, claiming that Little Walter did most of his songs in 3rd
position ... huh?

I'm not sure if I will attend this show but if I do I'll post a small review
(and tell you
who did the best Roller Coaster).

Mellow down easy,

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

Playing "Help-Me" In the Style of Sonny Boy Williamson II: A step by step, note for note analysis of some of Sonny Boy's Signature Riffs

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.
