Subject: Re:Pigs and Hogs

Hey harpers,
On the Pignose Hog-20, Mike sez...

The extra pig-power is nice. I especially like the built in
rechargeable batteries of the Hog. Bigger speaker, more power, more

Let me second that. The rechargeable battery pack is very convenient
indeed. As you would expect, the Hog-20 can play quite a bit louder. With
volume, tone, and overdrive controlls, the Hog has more flexability when it
comes to adjusting your sound. That's a bonus with battery opperated amps.
(As the batteries die, the sound will start to distort as you crank up the
volume to squeeze out the last bit of sound).
Unless you want to wear the amp (the original Pignose can be hung from
your shoulder with a guitar strap), I say the Hog wins hands down. I'd
shop for one at a music store near you before I ordered one from Kevin's
though. Kevin's has great prices for harps and I really appreciate those
guys, but I picked up a Hog at a store in town for about $40 less than they
list it for (and I didn't pay the additional shipping costs).

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.
