Doug Tate wonders, to hilarious effect, what I mean in writing
about Brendan's traveling kit of CX-12's.

Let me explain that my impression is that most of Brendan's
travels are in the UK and Ireland. Yes, there's the occasional
hop home to New Zealand (with side trips to Australia?), and
probably some gigging in Europe, but none that I know of in Asia,
the Americas or Antarctica.

Anyway, wherever he goes, he has no qualms about taking his
CX-12s on account of any perceived fragility.

But then I imagine you know all this and were just looking for an
pretext to roast an instrument for which you have no great

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I also write Science Fiction, so you can sample some of my best stories. Also available in Kindle format.

I began collecting data about the microphones used by blue harp players before there was an internet. I began organizing it into in the late 1990s. I accumulated more stuff than I remember. This is some of it.
