Subject: Wireless Blues/L.Allison

Greetings techie types, I've been trying to put together a road worthy
wireless set up using a Shure 58 for harp. Sampson has a true diversity
model for $559 . Is Sampson stuff durable ? Any recommendations on
using a mic preamp before going to the board ? Effects?

On a bluer note, I too must add my raves about Luther Allison.
Incredible show and I'm not prone to gushing. He played past closing to
a small crowd on a Tuesday night and the band was tight. Great gut
wrenching version of It Hurts Me Too, it was as if I had never heard it
before. Catch em if you can.

Buy the Book!

I cleaned up my tab for Sonny Boy's Help Me and made it into a short book. There's a Kindle version for 99 cents, and if you buy the paperback you get the Kindle free.

I began collecting data about the microphones used by blue harp players before there was an internet. I began organizing it into in the late 1990s. I accumulated more stuff than I remember. This is some of it.
