Kim Wilson Playing Through a Premier 88
I got this email from Joakim Barcheus, a Swedish harp player.
If you want, you can take a peak at my home site and see some pictures on me and my premier amp in action.
If you are attentive, you can see Kim Wilson play through the same amp and I can tell you he enjoyed it.
I was hired in for the band that was going to be the opening act before the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and I tried to convince his manager to take my amp up on the stage instead of the Fender Blues Junior that they had hired for the occasion, but he didn't seem to like the idea. But after showing Kim the amp, Kim's response was: "What is that! I have never seen such a cool looking amp. I must play through that amp!"
The best thing of the whole evening was when he called me up on the stage to play with him and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, which was kind of nerve wracking, especially since he played so well I could not believe it.
