Hohner Raising Prices Nov 1

Tuesday, October 17th, 2006

Hohner has announced that it will increase the price of it’s harmonicas a couple of bucks as of November 1, 2006. It is a good time to stock up on harps, right now, before the price goes up.

There are several good harp stores on the internet. I usually buy from Coast2CoastMusic.com because they seem to ship fast.

Harp-L FAQ

Monday, October 16th, 2006

I’ve formatted and old Harp-L FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) that used to be on the HarmoniGopher back in the 1990s. Since the Gopher Server is long dead (Gopher was a precursor to the Web), I put them up at the old HarpLog.com site. Harplog used to be a WIKI, but the spammers killed it. Now, it’s just plain old flat files.

There are nice juicy topics from the experts at Harp-L, like how to bend, get fat tone, and how to tune your harps.

Unplugged – Blues Science Fiction

Friday, October 6th, 2006

I wrote a Science Fiction story about Blues! It was published in current edition of a magazine called The Martian Wave. If you get a chance, drop by and read the on-line version of UnPlugged by yours truly.

If you like the story (or even if you don’t or don’t even want to read it), please take a moment and vote for it. If I get the most votes, I get included in a neat book at the end of the year.

Thanks!
