The Unidyne PC

Friday, July 28th, 2006

Jeffrey Stephenson built a PC inside a hand made replica a Shure Unidyne “Elvis” microphone.

I have two of the original microphone, one of them without the guts. I wonder how hard it would be to make a real Unidyne mic? The problem would be to install the pc guts without destroying the collectable value of the shell.

There are different flavors of unidyne. Some are smaller. I have the great big fat one and I am thinking that it would actually fit a single board PC and a 2.5 inch drive. I know what I will be doing this weekend.

Sam Myers passes at 70 7-17-06

I read on Harp-L that Sam meyers passed away. I never missed a show when Sam and Anson came to town. I’ve even seen them a couple of times down in Texas. I will miss Sam’s huge personality. His passing is a great loss to the Blues Harp.

Broken programs

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

My hosting company seems to have broken many of my php file links. Around July 3, every php program on this server was “touched” and many broken. I’ve been trying to reload them. Please let me know if something is broken.
