Sunday, March 05, 2006 Erica put some treasures out on eBay The property taxes here in NY cleaned out the checking account again. I'm looking for things to sell on eBay. I've found some odds and ends that have been cluttering up the cellar. An Argonne AR-57 mic. This is a Japanese remake of a GE broadcast mic from the 60s and 70s. It looks good on your desk, but it's not a ribbon mic. Some odd adapters Amphenol to RCA. I've been using these on mic shells instead of the 2501F. You have to glue them or use a set screw to hold them in place. They are much easier to solder than the 2501F. An unknown pre-amp type unit with 15 Sprague Black Beauties in it. Two are the sought after kind used in Gibson Tone controls. 4 NOS Magnetic elements. Low impedance, though so not good for tube amps.
